> Bijli Bills (bijlibills.com) is a free consumer guide to electricity bills in Pakistan. It explains tariffs, taxes, and charges under the current NEPRA schedule (SRO 279(I)/2026, effective 12 February 2026), provides interactive bill calculators for all 11 distribution companies (DISCOs), and gives step-by-step help for checking, paying, correcting, and lowering your electricity bill. All figures are kept current as of August 2026 and sourced from NEPRA and official DISCO tariff schedules.

- Pakistan has 11 electricity distribution companies: LESCO, MEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO (all ex-WAPDA, billed on a uniform national tariff) and K-Electric (Karachi, separate schedule).
- Domestic slab rates (Rs/kWh, SRO 279(I)/2026, unprotected): 22.44 (1-100), 28.91 (101-200), 33.10 (201-300), 36.46 (301-400), 38.95 (401-500), 40.22 (501-600), 41.85 (601-700), 47.20 (700+). Protected consumers pay 10.54/13.01; lifeline 3.95/7.74.
- Unprotected domestic bills use landing-slab pricing (the whole month is billed at the rate of the slab the total lands in). Protected consumers (six straight months at or under 200 units) keep a one-previous-slab benefit.
- Since February 2026, bills also carry a per-kilowatt fixed charge (Rs 200-675 per kW of sanctioned load, by slab; lifeline exempt), plus an 18% GST, a Rs 3.23/unit financing cost surcharge, a monthly fuel price adjustment (FPA), a quarterly tariff adjustment (QTR), and provincial electricity duty.
