GEPCO Tariff Guide for Checking a Gujranwala Bill

If two Gujranwala bills show similar units but different totals, compare the energy line first. A change in the amount payable might instead come from a fixed charge, a fuel adjustment or an unpaid balance. Keep the two billing months side by side so you can identify the line that changed.

Open the official GEPCO bill and keep the copy for the billing period you want to check.

Pick the right GEPCO document

The GEPCO archive includes an April 2026 distribution investment and loss assessment. That document concerns the company’s network. For a household calculation, locate the consumer tariff notification and look up the account category and its effective date.

NEPRA’s GEPCO tariff records include notification S.R.O. 42(I)/2026, listed on 13 January 2026. Treat it as a dated starting point and check later notifications or adjustments for the period on your bill.

For a disputed change, save both GEPCO bill copies. In your enquiry, identify the month, tariff code and exact line that differs. This gives the billing office a specific figure to check.

For help reading the schedule, use the national electricity tariff guide. To check your arithmetic, put the figures printed on the bill into the bill arithmetic checker.

Find another electricity company if the name on your bill differs.
