For a Tribal Areas Electricity Supply Company account, use the TESCO reference on the issued bill. If the payable total seems high during a low-use month, record the billed units and reading dates first, then list each non-energy item that contributes to the total.
Open the official TESCO bill and keep the copy for the billing period you want to check.
Use TESCO’s notification archive
The April 2026 entry on distribution investment and losses concerns the company’s network plan. For a customer bill, identify the notified tariff and its effective period. Confirm that the schedule row matches the account category before treating a rupee figure as a per-unit charge.
NEPRA’s TESCO tariff records include notification S.R.O. 51(I)/2026, listed on 13 January 2026. Treat it as a dated starting point and check later notifications or adjustments for the period on your bill.
A low or zero units figure does not explain an old balance or a separately listed adjustment. If you dispute the readings, retain the dated meter reading and bill together. If you dispute a fee instead, identify the fee and billing month when contacting TESCO.
For help reading the schedule, use the national electricity tariff guide. To check your arithmetic, put the figures printed on the bill into the bill arithmetic checker.
Find another electricity company if the name on your bill differs.
